Job Overview

AtWork Personnel Skilled Trades Division has partnered with our Client who is looking for Inspectors to join their Engineering Team! This field based position is an integral part of our commitment to the quality and service we provide for our customers and to their equipment. The work is varied from day to day and is ideally suited to a individual who can work . A successful inspector will have excellent communications skills and the ability to work with clients and customers in a professional manor with high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Review and witness activities to recognized international codes, standards and/or regulations such as ASME Code, Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and Canadian Standards to name a few.
• Provide inspections to client specifications.
• Perform Engineering services to companies throughout the designated area.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma.
• Experience on High Pressure Boilers.
• Experience operating, maintaining, or inspecting boilers and pressure vessels.
• Basic computer skills.
• ASME & NBIC Code Knowledge.
• Meet RCI-1 Requirements to qualify for AI/RI examinations and Commission qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical College Graduate.
• Engineering degree.
• Experience with boilers and pressure vessels.
• Risk Survey experience.
• State Certificate of Competency and National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors Commission, with A Endorsement.

Physical Requirements

• Routinely move around a site facility, remote location, etc.
• Perform visual inspections of ASME/NB boilers and pressure vessels, review NDE reports and calculations.
• Consistently works in outside weather conditions that may be frigid or hot temperatures.
• May need to lift own body weight with associated safety equipment.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

Other Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance to enter client facilities.
• May require routine travel among multiple customer locations.
• Vehicle: assigned company vehicle or may use personal vehicle for company business.
• Must have an acceptable driving record.

Compensation & Benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $72,500 per year
