Job summary

Qualifications
- Must have medical terminology knowledge.
- Eligibility and verification of insurance required.
- At least 1 year of health care experience.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding.
- Strong customer service and communication.
- Proficient computer skills and adaptability to systems.
- Knowledge of registration and billing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Verify insurance eligibility and prior authorizations.
- Obtain clinical and treatment information from charts.
- Submit and track prior authorization requests.
- Coordinate with providers and billing teams.
- Document authorization details in Epic EMR.
- Provide patient cost estimates based on benefits.
- Assist with self-pay schedules and payments.
