Job summary

Terradyne Engineering in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a construction material testing technician to inspect, test, and evaluate soils, aggregate, and concrete to confirm compliance with project specs.

The role requires a reliable, safety‑minded individual who can work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 60 pounds, maintain field records, and support laboratory testing as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with field and laboratory testing of construction materials is preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand data and document collected information.
• Clean MVR, background and drug screening, valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregate, and concrete as needed.
• Generate field records of test results and related construction activities for project compliance documentation.
• Work outdoors in different weather conditions; lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
