Responsibilities include preoperative to postoperative anesthesia care, collaboration with the surgical team, and ability to administer general, regional, or local anesthesia.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME or AOA anesthesiology residency completed.
• Board certification in anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative anesthesia care.
• Collaborate with surgeons and teams to plan patient care.
• Administer general, regional or local anesthesia as needed.
• Monitor vitals and adjust anesthesia to ensure safety.
• Respond to emergencies during surgery.
• Document care in the medical record.
