Job summary

System Soft Technologies is seeking an experienced IT professional in Austin, TX to lead complex data migration initiatives on AWS. The role focuses on DMS migrations from Oracle to AWS, including batch and streaming data, CDC, and cloud formation infrastructure.

The position requires strong scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell), IaC experience, and a customer-focused approach for public sector environments. Hybrid onsite/remote work with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT delivering technology solutions.
• Experience with AWS DMS for Oracle-to-AWS migrations.
• Experience with batch and real-time data ingestion, CDC, and streaming.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and deliver data migration solutions.
• Create migration runbooks and rollback plans to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with security and networking teams to design compliant cloud infrastructure.
