Job summary

NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking Automotive Mechanics in the Austin, TX area to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and tires. You will complete state inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, and part replacements while maintaining a focus on safety and quality for our customers.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience or training in automotive repair, extensive personal tools, and a willingness to stand for

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair.
• Must possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools.
• Preferred state inspection licenses and ASE certifications in G1, A4, and A5.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services.
• Conduct undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks, and tire mounting/balancing.
• Perform state-mmandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, and replace worn parts.
• Stand, walk, and lift items weighing over 50 pounds as part of routine maintenance.
