United States Attorneys' Offices in Chicago seeks an Assistant United States Attorney for the Civil Division, Financial Litigation Program. The AUSA will help oversee asset investigations, garnishments, turnover orders, and unwinding fraudulent transfers, coordinating with Criminal and Civil Divisions to maximize recoveries for victims and the government.

Residency in the district or within 25 miles is required. JD and bar in good standing are mandatory; 2+ years post-JD preferred.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess a J.D. Degree (or equivalent) and be an active member in good standing of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction).
• At least 1-year post-J.D. experience is requested, with a minimum of 2 years post-J.D. experience required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the Civil Division, Financial Litigation Program (FLP) handling asset recovery, garnishments, and related enforcement actions.
• Work with Criminal and Civil Divisions to maximize financial recoveries for victims and the government.
