Job summary

The Western District of Texas seeks an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) for the Asset Recovery Division in San Antonio. AUSAs handle asset investigations, garnishments, foreclosures, turnovers, and unwinding fraudulent transfers while coordinating with Criminal and Civil Divisions to maximize recoveries for victims and the government.

Experience in bankruptcy, receiverships, forensic accounting, real estate transactions, and civil litigation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess a J.D. Degree and be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction).
• At least 1 year post-J.D. legal or related experience.
• United States citizenship is required.
• Preferred: strong academics, superior legal writing and research ability, good judgment, courtroom skills, professionalism, ethics, civility, and public service.
