Responsibilities

• Represent the United States in civil and criminal matters as assigned by the Civil Division.
• Engage in motion practice and oral argument, take and defend depositions, respond to written discovery.
• Prepare cases for trial, try cases, and brief/argue appeals.
• Work with government agencies to gather information and evidence; negotiate settlements.
