Job summary

Peregrine Advisors is building a federal data platform in a hybrid Washington, DC area role. You will design and maintain SQL objects on Amazon Aurora (PostgreSQL-compatible), with DynamoDB, S3, and Apache Iceberg as platform stores.

You will grow toward owning physical data design, focusing on data accuracy, governance, and scalable data delivery. A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in database development are expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of database development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with Amazon Aurora (PostgreSQL-compatible) and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain SQL, stored procedures, and views on Amazon Aurora.
• Perform query tuning and manage data loading into platform stores from S3.
• Ensure governed access and connectivity (ODBC/JDBC) across services.
• Assist toward owning physical data design over time.
