Job summary

Lazard Asset Management is seeking an AUM Reporting Analyst in New York. This role owns the accuracy, integrity and presentation of firm‑wide Assets Under Management (AUM) data and translates that data into analysis that informs decisions made by senior management, Distribution, Product and the broader business.

You’ll bring strong business acumen, a database‑driven mindset and sharp analytical judgment to a role with direct visibility to senior management and C‑suite stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in business analytics, data/reporting, or a related quantitative role in financial services.
• Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience querying and manipulating large datasets.
• Proficiency with BI/visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau) and advanced Excel.
• Strong ability to translate raw data into a clear narrative for senior management.
• Confidence presenting to senior management and C-suite stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Validate and reconcile AUM and flow data for internal and external reporting.
• Build dashboards and ad hoc analyses — covering flows, revenue and performance by strategy, channel and geography.
• Partner with Operations and Technology to ensure AUM data is accurate and fit for purpose across systems.
• Leverage AI to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.
• Present findings to Finance leadership and Head of AUM Reporting.
• Drive automation to reduce manual reconciliation and strengthen data governance.
