Job summary

Nextera Search is seeking a Finance & Reporting Analyst for our New York office to support client reporting and portfolio analytics.

You will prepare and review reporting on cash flow, asset allocation, and portfolio performance, while ensuring data accuracy across systems and collaborating with portfolio management teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience within wealth management, investment reporting, portfolio operations, or a related financial services environment.
• Experience with portfolio reporting and investment data.
• Strong proficiency in Addepar and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review client reporting, including cash flow, asset allocation, and portfolio performance analysis.
• Analyze portfolio performance at both the total portfolio and individual investment level.
• Perform portfolio reporting analytics, including performance trends, allocation changes, and investment activity.
• Analyze portfolio data to identify performance drivers, variances, and reporting trends.
• Maintain client accounts, security data, and account attributes within portfolio reporting systems.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of custodial and investment data across reporting platforms.
• Perform regular data reconciliations and audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Process and maintain investment data related to alternative investments.
• Partner with portfolio management teams to validate data and support portfolio analysis.
• Assist with recurring and ad hoc portfolio analytics and reporting requests.
• Support special projects and other initiatives as needed.
