Our AUKUS, Submarines, and Industrial Base Group (ASIG) within the Sea, Land, Air Division provides objective assessments supporting submarine platform construction, including major programs like Columbia-class SSBN, Virginia-class SSN, and the next-gen SSN-X. We support the submarine industrial base, oversee cutting-edge construction, and develop future design requirements, contributing to the future capabilities of the US Navy in strategic competition.

SPA is seeking a Program Analyst to support the AUKUS I&A Office's Depot Level Maintenance Team, focusing on the development of SSN Depot Level Maintenance capabilities in Australia, working with US, UK, and Australian partners.

Responsibilities

• Support the NAVSEA AUKUS program, particularly the Phase 2 Depot Level Maintenance Working Group (DLMWG).
• Collaborate with government and industry partners across trilateral nations to develop SSN Depot Level Maintenance capabilities in Australia.
• Provide technical and programmatic support, including risk management, strategic advising, budget management, and coordination of working groups.
• This position is based at SPA HQ in Alexandria, VA, with frequent travel (~15%) to the Washington Navy Yard and partner locations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ years of government or military experience
• Ability to work onsite in Alexandria, VA, with frequent travel to WNYD; remote work up to 40% occasionally
• Experience with USN submarine maintenance (Depot and/or Intermediate Levels)
• Active SECRET security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
