Within the Sea, Land, Air Division, ASIG provides timely, objective assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy, and business analysis to NAVSEA Team Submarine program offices and stakeholders. The group oversees submarine platform procurement activities, including the Columbia-class SSBN program, the Virginia-class SSN program, and the upcoming SSN-X program. These efforts support the future capabilities of the US Navy in a strategic context.
This role involves providing specialized program management, advisory support, analysis, and subject matter expertise in emergency preparedness and response for the AUKUS Program Delivery Office (PDO). Responsibilities include researching, drafting, and integrating emergency policies and procedures to support the SRF-W capability stand-up by IOS, along with strategic planning and readiness assessments related to submarine operations and combat systems integration.
This position requires working in a high-security environment, ensuring compliance with security protocols and confidentiality. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential to enhance submarine capacity, capability, and readiness in support of national defense.
