Job Title: AUKUS Deputy Program Manager

The AUKUS, Submarine and Industrial Base Group, within SPA's Sea, Land and Air Division, provides timely, objective assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy, and business analysis to NAVSEA Team Submarine program offices. This team supports major submarine procurement programs, including the Columbia-class SSBN, Virginia-class SSN, and the new SSN-X program, critical to the future capabilities of the US Navy.

SPA is seeking an AUKUS Deputy Program Manager to work at SPA Headquarters in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Support the AUKUS Portfolio leadership team as Deputy Program Manager.
• Manage contracts, internal SPA business processes, and develop spend and staffing plans.
• Lead organic business development activities.
• Mentor SPA analysts and ensure quality of contract deliverables.
• This is a nominative position requiring government approval.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work on-site in Alexandria, VA, up to full-time depending on client needs.
• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years in undersea assignments, including leadership roles.
• Experience within Team Submarine.
• Experience with contract management, business operations, or acquisition.
• Proven ability to lead teams in developing rigorous analytic solutions for government and military issues.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and work autonomously.
• Current DOD Secret security clearance, maintainable throughout employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Foreign Military Sales.
• Ability to develop business relationships and generate/maintain funding for small to mid-size teams.
• Experience in military operations analysis, requirements definition, analyses of alternatives, JCIDS process, and DoD Acquisition.
