Cherry Bekaert LLP in Raleigh, NC seeks a valuation professional to support and manage engagement execution across business valuations for transactions, financial reporting, and tax. You will analyze historical results, build Excel-based models, and contribute to report preparation while coordinating with leadership.

The role requires 1+ year of relevant experience, familiarity with US GAAP, and strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in related field.
• Ability to work on multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
• Excellent verbal, written (including technical writing) and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with US GAAP.
• Basic technical skills in financial modeling, model valuation, and model building (Excel-based).

Responsabilidades

• Takes an active role in valuation engagement execution. Supports leadership with engagement management.
• Works on business valuation engagements, including valuations for transactions, financial reporting and tax.
• Manages document production and inventory documents.
• Analyzes historical financial and operating results of target companies to explain business trends and identify risks.
• Analyzes and challenges assumptions related to future financial projections.
• Works on financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction and option pricing analyses.
• Assists in the development of discount rates (WACC).
• Conducts financial statement analysis (e.g., common size analysis, trend analysis, and industry comparative analysis).
• Performs market/industry research and develop industry growth estimates.
• Assists with preparation of valuation reports.
• Maintains active communication with supervisors throughout engagements.
• Other duties as assigned.
