Job summary

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services seeks an experienced Audits and Accounting Manager to lead GAAP coordination, monthly and annual reconciliations, and high-level accounting support for the department. You will supervise staff and coordinate audits with IOC, the federal government, and other sources.

Responsibilities include maintaining reconciliation processes, ensuring policy compliance, and collaborating with the Division of Budget and Finance while delivering sound

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in business, public administration, economics, accounting, or related.
• Requires licensure as a Certified Public Accountant.
• Requires three years of progressively responsible accounting, research or budget experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Audits and Accounting Manager.
• Coordinate and monitor department audits statewide.
• Act as GAAP Coordinator for the department.
