What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and deliver technical training plans and materials to enhance team effectiveness
- Provide mentoring and support to audit team members, including orientation for new hires
- Assess training needs and develop evaluation procedures for training effectiveness
- Monitor and assess audit performance, recommending improvements as necessary
- Collaborate with various teams to implement new concepts and optimize audit processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associates Degree or equivalent relevant experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in claims auditing, quality assurance, or recovery auditing
- Clinical/Nursing experience in SNF, IRF, or home health settings is required
- Coding certification (CCS, CPC, etc.) is required and must be maintained
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in home health, IRF, and SNF environments
- Knowledge of curriculum and training design principles
- Proficiency with audit technology and applications like R3, CAT, Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to creatively solve problems and implement policies and procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
