Job summary

The State of Hawai'i - Department of Commerce & Consumer Affairs, Public Utilities Commission in Downtown is seeking an Auditor II to audit accounts and render opinions on financial position and operations of government entities and others.

Level II is an advanced trainee role with duties ranging from simple to moderately difficult; a bachelor’s degree with at least twelve semester hours in accounting/auditing is required, with substitutions allowed as described in the minimum qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least twelve (12) semester credit hours in accounting and/or auditing.
• One year of progressively responsible professional auditing experience for Level II.
• Substitutions as described in the minimum qualification requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional auditing of accounts to render opinions on financial position and operations of government entities and others.
• Work at varying levels of complexity as an advanced trainee (Level II) and perform duties as required.
