Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring an Auditor in Groveport, OH. The role focuses on accurate counting and inspection of inbound and outbound product, ensuring quality, labels, and addresses match customer specifications.

Monday–Friday expectations and physical duties are part of the job. Ideal candidates have warehousing experience, familiarity with WMS systems (Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP), and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience preferred.
• Must meet material handling equipment certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Count inbound and outbound shipments and verify against manifest.
• Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments using appropriate forms.
• Safely operate forklift or other material handling equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and ensure accuracy of orders.

• Position: Auditor
• Shift:(BHN) Wednesday - Saturday 5:00PM-3:30AM Overtime may be avaiable.
• Pay: $20.00 per hour + $1.00 Shift Differential on Wednesday-Thursday, $2.50 Shift Differential on Friday-Saturday

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal will also have the following skills:

Supply Chain, Quality Control, Auditing, Product Compliance, Material or Product Inspection.

Minimum of 1 year's experience in the following:

• Accurately checking or counting all products for both inbound and outbound freight and ensuring all product is free of damage or defect. Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and shipping address of orders correspond to customer specifications or other requirements.
• Experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.
• Microsoft Office software, including Excel.
• Ability to work in a sometimes physical, hands-on role that includes extended period of standing and walking.

Role Purpose

Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded. Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications or other requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Count all inbound product, compare to manifest, and check all shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates before product is stored.
• Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms and forward to appropriate party.
• Sign for inbound shipments or accept signature for outbound merchandise due to a special request.
• Check contents of outbound freight as filled and assembled by warehouse personnel.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer’s order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
• Safely and effectively operate forklift or any other materials handling equipment as required and assist in the loading or unloading of merchandise moving into or out of the warehouse as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
