Bowers Accountants & Advisors (Powered by Current!) is seeking motivated interns to join the Audit team for the 2027 Summer Internship Season in Syracuse, NY and other upstate locations. This part-time internship offers flexible hours and a path to CPA eligibility.

Responsibilities include learning accounting and corporate finance principles, multitasking, maintaining confidentiality, and using auditing software, with regular updates to managers.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
• Junior standing or above preferred.
• Interest in pursuing a career in public accounting.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Learn accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently.
• Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.
• Become familiar with and effectively utilize software for Auditing.
• Communicate status updates to managers/supervisors as needed.
