Job summary

California State University, Northridge (CSUN) is seeking two tenure-track faculty members in Audit at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective Fall 2027. The department expects teaching in Audit, Data Analytics and/or Accounting, plus an active program of scholarly research in Accounting consistent with AACSB standards.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, service, and collegial governance, with a commitment to diverse student outcomes and inclusive excellence across all CSUN

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or DBA in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution; ABD considered with terminal degree anticipated by August 20, 2027.
• Evidence of excellence in university-level teaching for in-person and remote modalities.
• Evidence of excellence in scholarship through publications in high-quality journals.

Responsibilities

• Teach Audit, Data Analytics and/or Accounting courses.
• Maintain an ongoing program of scholarship in Accounting.
• Weekly office hours and attendance at faculty meetings; participate in assessment of student learning and service to the department, college and university.
• May teach on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and/or online; uphold tenure and promotion standards.
