Job summary

WilkinGuttenplan, P.C. invites current accounting students (junior or senior) to join a summer internship in New Jersey/New York City. You will split time between audit and tax work, shadowing professionals and assisting on condominium and cooperations engagements.

The program runs June through mid-August, with 3 days per week (Mon, Tue, Thu) from 9am to 5pm. We promote a collaborative, award-winning culture with remote work flexibility and a supportive Buddy Program to guide your growth.

Qualifications

• Current college junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Committed to a 3-day per week internship from June through mid-August (Mon, Tue, Thu, 9am–5pm).
• Strong academic track record with dedication to Accounting studies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training sessions to gain proficiency with advanced accounting software and tools.
• Assist in audits, reviews, compilations, and tax compliance tasks under supervision.
• Engage in client assignments, research projects, and shadowing to learn industry practices.
• Collaborate with team members across levels to understand both audit and tax workflows.
• Analyze financial data and contribute to reports and statements.
