Job summary

Plante Moran, a leading audit, tax, consulting and wealth management firm, is recruiting a 2027 Audit or Tax Intern. This full-time internship follows a hybrid model with offices in CO, IL, OH, and MA, giving you real client exposure from day one and competitive compensation of $33.00–$36.00 hourly.

As an entry-level staffer, you will participate in audit and tax engagements, assist with planning, testing, and reporting, and develop technical and professional skills while pursuing the CPA path

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s in accounting or a master’s in accounting or tax.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• On track to sit for the CPA exam and obtain licensure.
• Strong detail orientation, leadership potential, and problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage in engagements: participate in audit and/or tax engagements and contribute to client projects.
• Conduct core activities: planning engagement strategies, testing, researching issues, and preparing reports.
• Support financial health: work on compilations, reviews, and compliance to ensure accurate financial statements.
