Management Performance Associates is seeking an Audit Supervisor in the Chicago North Suburbs with a hybrid work model. The role focuses on employee benefit plan audits for privately held clients, offering exposure to the full engagement lifecycle and significant client interaction.

You will lead engagements, supervise staff, and partner with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality audits across diverse industries. CPA is preferred and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5–7+ years of public accounting audit experience.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.
• Employee Benefit Plan audit experience is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of taxation and business returns.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee benefit plan audits and other engagements from planning through completion.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants.
• Develop engagement work plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements.
• Monitor engagement progress and communicate with Managers and Partners.
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, and tax returns.
• Manage engagement economics, including budgeting and billing.
