The Role: Audit Supervisor

Available in NYC Midtown or Jericho, Long Island

We're seeking an experienced Assurance professional who thrives on challenge and wants to take their career to the next level. This role offers the perfect blend of technical expertise, leadership development, and client interaction.

Your Impact:

Strategic Leadership

• Lead engagement coordination from planning through completion
• Drive budget management and performance optimization
• Oversee comprehensive audit planning, fieldwork execution, and report delivery
• Take full ownership of assurance engagements with complete accountability

Team Development & Mentorship

• Supervise and develop audit staff daily
• Participate in Level Training programs for junior professionals
• Coach emerging talent through our structured mentoring program
• Build and cultivate high-performing audit teams

Client Excellence

• Communicate findings and strategic recommendations to senior management
• Identify and develop extended service opportunities
• Build lasting client relationships that drive firm growth
• Serve as trusted advisor on complex accounting matters

Technical Mastery

• Perform sophisticated technical research and analysis
• Prepare complex financial statement footnotes
• Ensure compliance with evolving professional standards
• Stay current on latest pronouncements and industry developments
  
  

What You Bring:

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• 5-8 years of progressive assurance experience
• CPA license or CPA exam eligibility
• Proven track record in complex engagements

Technical Excellence:

• Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Extensive experience with review engagements
• Proficiency in CCH Prosystemsfx, BNA income tax planner, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office
• Experience with Profx/Engagement software preferred

• Strong analytical and research capabilities
