Job summary

Withum is offering an Audit Intern position in the United States. As an intern, you will gain hands-on public accounting experience by supporting the auditing team with financial reviews, data analysis, and compliance checks. This internship runs June through August, exposing you to internal controls and regulatory standards.

Hours vary by location, ranging from part time to full time. Candidates should be accounting majors or MBA candidates with a 3.0+ GPA, able to commute to an office, and

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior Accounting Major or Business related, or MBA Candidate in Accounting track
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Must be able to work 20–40 hours per week
• Ability to commute to one of our office locations
• Excellent interpersonal and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements
• Evaluate internal control systems, audit risk and compliance
• Assist in preparing detailed workpapers supporting audit procedures
• Perform substantive testing and analytical review procedures
• Assist with client engagements and other projects
• Gain exposure to various industries and business environments
