Job summary

Withum offers an Audit Internship that provides hands-on public accounting experience. You will support the auditing team with data analysis, internal controls review, and regulatory compliance checks, gaining exposure to financial reporting.

The internship runs from June to August, with hours varying by office needs. Ideal candidates are junior or senior accounting majors or MBA candidates in accounting, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, who can work 20–40 hours per week and commute to an office

Qualifications

• Pursuing accounting or business degree with expected graduation date.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Able to commit to 20–40 hours per week.
• Must be able to commute to one of our office locations.
• Excellent interpersonal and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements.
• Assist in auditing by supporting the team with testing and documentation.
• Support preparation of workpapers and audit procedures.
• Perform substantive testing and analytical reviews as directed.
• Participate in client engagements and other assigned projects.
• Gain exposure to various industries and business environments.
