Purvis Gray seeks an Audit Staff to join our Assurance Services team in Florida. Whether you are a recent graduate or have a year or two of experience, this role offers hands-on exposure to clients across government, nonprofit, construction, healthcare, and more.

You will gain real responsibilities from day one. You'll work with senior staff to plan and execute audits, perform fieldwork, and prepare workpapers in line with firm standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA license strongly preferred.
• U.S. GAAP and U.S. GAAS familiarity desired.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audit and assurance engagements.
• Perform fieldwork including testing and internal control evaluations.
• Prepare workpapers according to firm standards.
• Support preparation of financial statements and disclosures.
• Participate in client meetings and communicate with engagement teams.
• Research and apply U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
• Contribute to intern development and cross-team collaboration.
