Job summary

Citrin Cooperman is seeking entry level staff for its Audit Department in a dynamic, collaborative setting. You will perform basic audit, review and compilation procedures under supervision, verify balances, and assist with inventory counts.

You will develop technical skills and client-facing abilities while building relationships with team members and clients. A CPA pathway or 150 credit hours is supported by the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 from an accredited college or university.
• CPA eligibility or 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with client responsiveness.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Caseware/Caseview knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit, review and compilation procedures as assigned.
• Verify bank balances and examine fixed assets; perform inventory counts.
• Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to seniors, managers and partners.
• Build working relationships with peers, supervisors and client personnel.
