Job summary

Citrin Cooperman is seeking entry-level staff to join our Audit Department in the United States. You will assist with audit, review, and compilation procedures, verify balances, examine assets, and perform inventory counts while building relationships with client personnel.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum 3.0 GPA and is pursuing CPA eligibility or has completed 150 credit hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 from an accredited college or university.
• CPA eligibility or completion of 150 credit hours required for CPA track.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with client responsiveness focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Handle projects with urgency and strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; knowledge of Caseware/Caseview is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit, review and compilation procedures.
• Verify bank balances and examine fixed assets.
• Conduct inventory counts and communicate findings to seniors and partners.
• Build working relationships with peers, supervisors, and client personnel.
• Support Senior Professionals and Managers with engagement tasks.
• Prepare working papers and documentation for engagements.
• Contribute to efficient project execution and client service.
