Job summary

CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in our West Region offices. Based in California, you will plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements for diverse local government clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, has at least two years of audit experience, and CPA eligibility. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality reports while building client relationships within CLA's collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant audit experience.
• SLG industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Collaborate with clients and decision makers while performing audit procedures.
• Audit complex areas and prepare financial statements and reports.
• Research, analyze, and report on accounting and auditing developments.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to build careers.
• Collaborate with managers and principals to ensure service delivery.
• Engage with several clients to develop relationships.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
