Job summary

Software Placement Group in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead client engagements and mentor junior staff in a hybrid, full-time role.

You will build relationships with clients, apply GAAP, supervise audits and help develop process improvements within a growing CPA firm.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

A growing CPA firm is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its team. This is a client-facing role responsible for leading audit engagements and mentoring junior staff, offering the opportunity to build strong client relationships while contributing to the firm's continued growth.

What you'll do

• Build relationships with clients by gathering information, resolving problems, and providing recommendations for process improvements
• Lead client audit, review, and compilation engagements, including planning, executing, directing and completing financial audits
• Demonstrate knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statement presentation
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates on audit process
• Research and analyze financial statements and audit related issues
• Acquire a working knowledge of clients' businesses
• Perform other accounting services as assigned

Required qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting
• 2 - 4 years of audit experience in public accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate
