Job summary

The role requires a CPA or CPA candidate, 3+ years in public accounting, and strong GAAP knowledge. Proficiency with Excel and audit software is expected. Target salary ranges from $85,000 to $110,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
• Experience supervising or reviewing junior staff.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and audit software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, and other assurance engagements.
• Lead audit fieldwork, perform risk assessments, and evaluate financial statements, internal controls, and supporting documentation.
• Identify and resolve accounting, financial reporting, internal control, and audit issues.
• Prepare and review audit workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and standards.
• Review the work of staff auditors and provide guidance and feedback.
• Communicate engagement status, audit findings, and recommendations to clients, managers, and partners.
• Other duties as assigned.
