Job summary

630 UHY Inc. is seeking an Audit Senior Accountant to lead and execute attestation engagements for clients in accordance with applicable accounting standards. You will supervise staff, maintain client relationships, and coordinate with partners and leaders to deliver high-quality work.

Responsibilities include planning, performing complex audit procedures, evaluating internal controls, and reporting findings with timely communication to clients. Travel may be required as part of engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field 3 – 6 years of relevant audit experience within a CPA firm

Responsibilities

• Perform complex audit procedures, including substantive testing, control testing, and analytical review.
• Review workpapers, documentation, and audit evidence for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with partners, managers, and clients to develop comprehensive audit plans.
• Identify key areas for audit focus, potential risks, and necessary resources.
• Analyze financial statements and disclosures to identify issues or discrepancies.
• Evaluate internal control systems and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Serve as main client contact, maintain professional communication and relationships.
• Supervise and mentor audit staff, guiding their development.
• Lead and manage engagements from planning to completion, within timelines and budgets.
• Stay current with evolving accounting standards and industry trends.
• Document conclusions and finalise audit reports for clients.
• Engage in continuous learning and contribute to firm methodologies.
