CliftonLarsonAllen is seeking an Audit & Assurance Senior to join our Professional Services Industry team. Based in one of the listed offices (Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Winston-Salem, NC), you will lead audit engagements for professional services clients, manage day-to-day activities, and deliver high-quality financial reporting.

Expected qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and 2+ years in public accounting, with CPA eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• Two or more years of public accounting experience with emphasis in financial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations is required.
• Prior experience with an established public accounting or professional services firm is preferred.
• Ability to travel to client sites which may also require infrequent overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of audit and assurance engagements for professional services clients from planning through final delivery.
• Coordinate engagement timelines, budgets, and resources for efficient, high‑quality service.
• Evaluate client accounting processes and operating procedures to enhance controls and mitigate risk.
• Assess internal control design/effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures with attention to accuracy and professional standards.
• Serve as primary contact for engagement teams and clients, communicating clearly on technical matters.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to address issues and deliver meaningful business insights.
