Job summary

Optimize Search Group is seeking an Audit Senior in Dallas (Uptown) for an immediate need. This hybrid role offers 1-2 days in the office, a salary of $90,000-$105,000 plus a 10% bonus, and growth opportunities within a highly regarded professional services firm.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, CPA or CPA in-progress, strong Excel and ERP experience, and 2-3+ years of US GAAP knowledge. CPA bonus and tuition reimbursement are highlighted benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA or CPA in-progress is a must
• Strong Excel and ERP experience
• 2-3+ years of related experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the auditing of all required financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables
• Develop an understanding of the client's business, and become an industry specialist to understand client specific needs
• Supervise Audit Associates on engagement teams and function as an in-charge facilitating field work by monitoring and reporting regarding productivity and adherence to work plan schedules on each assignment
• Anticipate and address client concerns and escalate issues as they arise
• Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient
• Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Managers and Partners
• Recognize and inform audit team lead of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients
• Ensure professional development through ongoing education
• Keep abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP, GAAS, GAGAS, GABB, FASB and the Firm’s standards and policies
