Job summary

JLK Rosenberger, LLP is seeking a Senior Auditor in our Dallas area to build a career with our firm. The role involves supervising audits for insurance, nonprofit, and employee benefit plan clients, and coordinating with clients in a flexible office/remote setup.

You will guide staff, plan and execute audits, and interact with controllers, CFOs, and CEOs as a trusted advisor while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and be a licensed CPA or have passed all parts of the CPA Exam.
• Three or more years of recent public accounting experience, including supervising staff accountants.
• Technically savvy with excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, multi-task, handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
• US work authorization (we are not sponsoring visas)

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff auditors and audits for insurance, nonprofit, and employee benefit plan clients.
• Plan, perform and report on audits with the flexibility to work in office or from home.
• Lead audit teams at client sites and interact with controllers, CFOs and CEOs as trusted advisors.

We’re seeking a senior auditor in our Dallas office who is eager to build a career with our firm.

A day in the life of a senior auditor…

You will be responsible for supervising less experienced staff auditors and for supervising audits to clients in the insurance, nonprofit, and employee benefit plan industries. You will have the flexibility to work in the office or from home, performing, planning and/or reporting for your clients. You might even be researching a complex accounting topic for your client. Alternatively, you might be meeting up to lead your audit team at your client’s office where you will work directly with the controller, CFOs and CEOs as a trusted advisor.

The job requires…

• a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and be a licensed CPA or have passed all parts of the CPA Exam;
