We are currently looking for an entry‑level associate to join our Assurance line of business. We are interested in people who are naturally curious and have a passion for learning and problem‑solving. This individual will need to be professional, goal‑oriented and have good analytical skills with a genuine interest in auditing.
As auditors, we assist companies to publish accurate financial statements others can rely upon. As an associate, you’ll work as part of a team to help our clients solve business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include:
- Getting to know our clients, their business and how they work to provide the right service
- Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project from strategy to execution
- Analyzing data that goes into a financial statement
- Prepare financial statements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to prioritize work under tight deadlines
- Ability to adapt to change
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact with various levels of leadership (client or within the team) in both written and verbal form
- Self‑motivating and taking responsibility for personal growth and development
- Detail oriented and a high level of pride in your work
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or another related field.
- Eligible to sit for the CPA Exam.
- Up to one year of public accounting experience is preferred, but not required.
