Job summary

CMP in Logan, Utah, is seeking an Audit Senior to lead client engagements, mentor team members, and deliver high-quality audit and financial reporting services. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Logan, UT, with typical Monday–Friday hours and additional busy-season Saturdays during February and March.

Relocation may be required. This role requires public accounting experience, CPA license or candidacy, and a strong grasp of U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience.
• CPA license or CPA candidate.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
• Ability to research and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple client engagements across varied industries, managing budgets and deadlines.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute audit and financial statement engagements from start to finish.
• Identify accounting and audit issues, develop practical solutions, and communicate recommendations.
• Manage workload to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor interns and junior staff.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to firm growth.
• Travel to client locations as needed.

About the Role

CMP is seeking a motivated and experienced Audit Senior to join our growing audit team. If you’re looking for an opportunity to expand your leadership skills, work closely with a diverse client base, and make a meaningful impact, we’d love to meet with you. As an Audit Senior, you’ll play a key role in leading client engagements, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality audit and financial reporting services. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Logan, Utah, Monday through Friday, with additional hours and mandatory Saturdays during February and March (busy season). Candidates must be able to relocate before their start date.
