Job summary

Sherwood Staffing Partners in Greensburg, PA, is helping a well-established CPA firm grow its audit team, seeking an Audit Senior to start immediately. You will own real work on engagements and partner-access, with a clear path to Supervisor and Manager for career advancement.

The role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 from home), reasonable hours outside busy season, summer Fridays, and strong benefits including 15–21 PTO days, 100% paid medical for individuals, dental, vision, a 3%

Qualifications

• 2+ years of audit experience in public accounting.
• CPA or actively working toward it.
• Comfortable leading fieldwork and guiding junior staff.
• Based in Greensburg/Pittsburgh area and able to be in the office 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run fieldwork on audit engagements.
• Supervise, train, and review the work of staff accountants.
• Serve as a main point of contact for clients during engagements.
• Work closely with managers and partners from planning through wrap up.
• Spot issues early and help find practical fixes for clients.

A well established CPA firm in Greensburg is growing its audit team and needs an Audit Senior now. This is an immediate opening, and the process is quick: two interviews and you’ll know where you stand.

You’d own real work on engagements and work directly with partners who are involved and easy to reach. The schedule leaves room for a life. Audit is a priority for the firm right now, so there’s a clear path to Supervisor and Manager for people who want to move up.
