Job summary

Kaufman Rossin is seeking Senior Auditors to join our Assurance Services team in Florida. Seniors will manage all details of multiple engagements, independently applying accounting principles and audit procedures while assessing engagement risk.

Responsibilities include planning, executing, and issuing audits, preparing financial statements, reviewing staff work, and communicating progress to management. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus; CPA or CPA eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of public accounting assurance/audit experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred.
• Experience drafting and reviewing financial statements.
• Experience planning, executing, and reviewing engagements.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage client relationships with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire audit engagement from planning through issuance.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Review, train, and oversee staff progress.
• Communicate audit status with management.
• Serve as liaison between staff and client.
• Adhere to the budget process.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities with existing clients.

How You’ll Contribute:

This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and audit procedures, as well as the capability of assessing engagement risk and audit risk.

• Oversee the entire audit engagement from planning through issuance
• Financial statement preparation
• Review, train, and oversee staff progress
• Effectively communicate the status of audit engagements with management
• Act as liaison between staff and client
• Adherence to the budget process
• Identify additional services or cross-sell opportunities for existing clients

Requirements

What Skills You’ll Bring:
