What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Conduct internal and customer audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with the FBI’s CJIS Security Policy
  • Develop project plans with milestones and work with agencies to meet audit and assessment requirements
  • Identify risks and issues, facilitating their resolution and tracking remediation activities
  • Liaise with internal teams and third-party auditors to enhance understanding and ensure timely delivery of compliance documentation
  • Represent CJIS requirements in product development and go-to-market initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Legal Studies
  • IT or Security experience (such as development, QA, or system administration) preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • U.S. Citizenship required and ability to travel 25%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Progress towards CISA or CIPP certification
  • Experience conducting security audits and assessments
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, SOC 1, SOC 2, and NIST
