What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Conduct internal and customer audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with the FBI’s CJIS Security Policy
  • Develop project plans and manage audit and assessment requirements with minimal supervision
  • Identify risks and facilitate their resolution while tracking follow-up and remediation activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party auditors to gather evidence and prepare documentation
  • Represent CJIS requirements in product development and compliance assessments including PCI DSS, SOC 1, SOC 2, and NIST
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Legal Studies
  • IT or Security experience, such as development, QA, or system administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • US Citizenship required and ability to travel 25%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Progress towards CISA or CIPP certification
  • Experience in conducting security audits and assessments
  • Familiarity with criminal justice information systems and compliance requirements
