Job summary

The Office of the State Auditor is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join the Risk Management Team. You will review and edit audit and special reports to ensure clarity, accuracy, and transparent structure, working with internal parties within the organization’s risk management framework.

As part of our team, you will help evaluate risks, write clear risk reports, and support the Quality Management process.

Qualifications

• Ability to evaluate internal and external risks and analyze data.
• Ability to write clear risk reports and audit documentation.
• Knowledge of GAO standards and risk-based audit planning.
• Excellent interpersonal communication for presentations.

Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and finalize audit reports across divisions.
• Assist with Engagement Quality Reviews on audits performed by OSA.
• Contribute to annual System of Quality Management Risk Assessment.
• Identify compliance risks and ensure alignment with agency standards.
• Provide editorial guidance in weekly writer meetings.
