Job summary

Brewer Morris is partnering with a respected Top 200 CPA firm in Anaheim to recruit a Non-Equity Audit Partner. The role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) and a competitive base salary of $290,000 to $320,000 plus a 5-10% bonus, with a clear path to Equity Partnership.

We are seeking an experienced audit leader with 10+ years in public accounting, Big 4 or large firm background, and a strong ability to develop client relationships and drive practice growth.

Qualifications

• CPA required and active licensure.
• 10+ years of public accounting audit and assurance experience.
• Big 4, national, or large regional firm experience preferred.
• Experience leading complex audit engagements and managing client relationships.
• Proven success in business development and practice growth.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Long-term interest in a partnership track.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit and assurance engagements for closely held and middle-market businesses.
• Provide strategic guidance on accounting, financial reporting, and internal control matters.
• Review complex financial statements and audit workpapers for quality and compliance.
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for key client accounts.
• Mentor, develop, and oversee audit professionals at all levels.
• Drive business development initiatives and expand the firm's audit practice.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on growth strategies and operational initiatives.
