Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Manage audit, review, and compilation engagements, overseeing multiple teams and providing performance feedback upon engagement completion.
  • Partner with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners in risk assessment, audit procedures, and reporting.
  • Oversee daily operations of audit engagements, including staffing, planning, budgeting, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and conclusion.
  • Research and communicate guidance on complex accounting matters and transactions.
  • Assist clients with GAAP compliance and FASB Accounting Standard Updates, addressing concerns and resolving problems proactively.
  • Serve as an instructor in firm and department training programs and meetings.
  • Participate in and lead community, networking, and business development activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA certification required.
  • CCIFP certification preferred.
  • Construction industry experience in private and/or public sectors required.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant public accounting experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.

Compensation & Benefits: The estimated base salary range is $100,000 to $145,000, with potential for future increases. Actual salary depends on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Candidates may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance. Benefits include health plans, dental, vision, HSA options, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with profit sharing and matching, wellness incentives, education assistance, flexible time off, parental leave, and more. Eligibility varies by role, location, and hours worked.
