Responsibilities

• Manage and take responsibility for all phases of audit or review engagements across multiple simultaneous projects
• Maintain ongoing client contact throughout the year, developing thorough knowledge of each client's business and control systems while building strong relationships
• Keep the engagement Director or Partner informed of important developments, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions
• Ensure engagements are properly scheduled
• Create, track, and adhere to budgets for assigned Assurance and Advisory engagements; investigate and explain budget overruns to Director or Partner; identify change order opportunities
• Review financial statements and other client deliverables
• Direct, train, supervise, and review the work of senior accountants and staff accountants
• Play a pivotal role in staff performance evaluations, reviews, and periodic counseling
• Participate in the Firm's business development efforts
