Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking an Audit Manager to join our Lending team in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on banking and specialty finance, leading audit engagements and coordinating teams to deliver high-quality financial statement audits.

The candidate will supervise staff, apply GAAP/GAAS knowledge, and develop others through training and performance feedback. Travel up to 25% is expected as client needs dictate.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA or CA Certification.
• 5+ years in public accounting.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring associates.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, high quality client service and coordinate auditing of financial statements.
• Assess risk and design audit procedures for engagement teams.
• Understand and utilize RSM's Audit Methodology.
• Manage multiple engagement teams and prepare end-of-engagement evaluations.
• Supervise seniors and supervisors and monitor work product and coaching notes.
