Job summary

Talnt is seeking an Audit Manager to join its growing public accounting and advisory practice. This role provides a bigger seat at the table, owning key client relationships and leading engagements from planning through issuance.

You'll advise on complex accounting, review workpapers and financial statements, and develop the next generation of talent while collaborating with firm leadership on strategic issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive public accounting audit and assurance experience
• Current Audit Manager experience or readiness for Manager-level responsibility
• CPA strongly preferred
• Strong command of GAAP, GAAS, financial reporting, risk assessment, internal controls, and audit methodology

Responsibilities

• Lead audit, review, and assurance engagements from planning through completion and final issuance
• Build relationships with CFOs, controllers, business owners and senior management
• Advise clients on complex accounting, reporting, internal control and operational matters
• Oversee engagement strategy, risk assessment, audit execution, and documentation
• Review financial statements and disclosures with high audit quality
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and services
• Support practice development, recruiting, and firm growth
• Become a trusted resource clients call throughout the year
